Hello, I'm Hayley!

I'm currently in my final year at Victoria University of Wellington, studying a Bachelor of Design Innovation, majoring in Interaction Design with a minor in Media Design.

I'm an interaction designer, fascinated by the intersection of design, psychology, and emerging technology, and how it shapes the way we behave and live. I'm particularly drawn to the research side of UX, using interviews and observation to understand why people behave the way they do with digital products, and how that behaviour can inform human-centered design. I'm passionate about creating designs that help people better experience the world around them and feel human in the digital space.

Outside of design, I'm probably baking something, usually sourdough, cookies, or cakes. I love checking out new restaurants and cafes, and I'm always down for a coffee, hojicha, or sweet treat. I also love travelling and exploring new places, which I try to capture through photography.
